Scholarship Application
WHO CAN APPLY?
Applicants must meet all of the following:
EITHER
- A current high school senior who is a family member of a Greater Iowa City Area HBA member (may pursue any field of study)
OR
- A high school or post-secondary student (college or trade school) entering a construction or skilled trades field
PLUS
- Must be a resident of Johnson, Washington, Iowa, or Cedar Counties in Iowa
- Application must be postmarked by March 14th
Instructions:
- Answer all questions. Note “N/A” if not applicable.
- Do not staple or bind any application materials.
- Include official transcript. If you graduated in December and are a first semester college student, you must submit official high school and college transcripts.
- Include letter of recommendation. Signed and preferably on letterhead.
- Deliver completed application with requested documents no later than March 15 to:

Amy Lynn Pretorius Scholarship
Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
- Must be a female resident of Iowa
- Must be enrolling in, or attending, an accredited post-secondary school in Iowa
- Must be enrolled in a construction-related curriculum
- Application must be postmarked by April 15. Submission instructions are on page 4.
