The Greater Iowa City Area Home Builders Association gathered on November 6 at the Courtyard by Marriott for the 2025 Annual Meeting & Awards Dinner. Members and industry partners came together for an evening of celebration, recognition, and appreciation for the many individuals who contribute to the success of our association.
During the program, 2025 President Jennie Wunderlich recognized the Leadership Team and acknowledged the dedicated volunteers serving on our committees and councils.
This included Heather Kuenster with Kuenster Plumbing Heating & Air for the Remodelers Council, Lexi Mendoza with Hills Bank & Trust for Professional Women in Building, Barbara Messer with Kitchens by Design for the Vocational Training Council, and Amy Pearson with Future Builders of Iowa. Additional recognition went to Mike Pugh with Pugh Hagan Prahm for the Legislative Committee, Rory Triplett with Relion Insurance for the Membership Committee, Aaron McGlynn with Kirkwood for the Events Committee, and Weston Hodge with Hodge Companies for the Clay Shoot Committee. We also highlighted Robin Sueppel with Urban Acres and Alex Carrillo with Bedrock Builders for the Parade of Homes, Art Floss with CBI Bank & Trust and Heath Brewer with PSC Distribution for the Home Show, and Dylan Schindler with Hawkeye Ready Mix for the Golf Committee.

50 Year Members
We were also proud to recognize members who have reached an incredible milestone of 50 years with the association. Award Winners
A key part of the evening was celebrating this year’s award winners. Suburban Lumber was honored as the Industry Partner of the Year, while Debbie Reynolds of On Media was recognized as the PWB Member of the Year. Urban Acres received Associate of the Year, and Lori Kramer with Sueppel’s Building & Remodeling was named Affiliate of the Year. Sueppel’s Building & Remodeling earned Remodeler of the Year, and Bedrock Builders was honored as Builder of the Year.
