The Greater Iowa City Area Home Builders Association hosted the first Clay Shoot at Highland Hideaway in Riverside on Friday, September 5, 2025. Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy a fun day of networking, competition, and community support!
Event Highlights
Strong Participation – 18 teams joined us on the course, as well as sponsors and volunteers!
Scholarship Fundraiser – Thanks to raffle sales, sponsorships, and community support, nearly $1,200 was raised for the Professional Women in Building Scholarship to help students pursue careers in the trades. Thank you John’s Grocery, Scheels & Brownells for the awesome prizes!
Great Food & Fellowship – Flaming Flips BBQ served up a delicious lunch, and the day was filled with plenty of laughs and camaraderie among members.
Winners Announced – Awards were given for Best Shooter, Winning Team, and Dead Last Team
