Remodelers Council
The Remodelers Council was established in 1996 by 25 companies as an arm of the The Greater Iowa City Area HBA. It currently has more than 225 members. Its mission is to:
- Offer a network for council members.
- Improve the business and technical skills of Remodelers through educational programs.
- Demonstrate professionalism by establishing a code of ethics for members.
- Publicize the council and its members by distributing membership directories and participating public events such as The Home Show.
- Holding a Remodelers Parade in conjunction with the Parade of Homes each year.
- Create a local support group for those in the industry to find solutions to common problems.
