The Iowa City Area HBA's Legislative Committee typically meets every other month on the third Tuesday from 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. The committee recommends policies to the association on legislative, regulatory and legal matters. It tracks and monitors issues, explores options on ways to deal with them and connects with local officials and legislative leaders. […]

The Vocational Training Council Board of Directors and Committee members meet quarterly to discuss workforce development.

The Nominating Committee meets yearly to review applications and make recommendations of the next year's board of directors.

Dave Ashley, NAHB Membership Field Specialist, will be in Iowa City Tuesday, Sept. 13 at 9am to talk about how to recruit new members to our association. Please RSVP if you can attend so I have plenty of food for everyone.
