What a weekend! The 2026 Greater Iowa City Area Home Builders Association Home & Garden Show was one for the books.

Hosted at the Hyatt Regency Coralville, this year’s show brought together homeowners, builders, remodelers, suppliers, and industry professionals for three full days of connection, inspiration, and innovation.

Throughout the weekend, we saw steady engagement from homeowners actively planning projects. Vendors reported strong, high-quality leads and valuable one-on-one conversations with attendees ready to move forward on renovations, new construction, landscaping, and home improvements.

Kids Zone Success 🎉

A huge highlight again this year was the Kids Zone, proudly sponsored by Sueppel’s Building & Remodeling. Families packed the area to build their own birdhouses — a hands-on activity that gave kids a chance to create something they could take home and be proud of.

It’s always special to see the next generation getting excited about building!

Professional Women in Building 50/50 Raffle

The Professional Women in Building (PWB) Council hosted a 50/50 raffle to support scholarships for women pursuing careers in construction and the trades.
